To commemorate the anniversary of Sandy Hook, UClass is hosting the Hands of Hope for Sandy Hook  lesson, co-authored by Congresswoman Gabby Giffords and Sandy Hook parent Nicole Hockley. This project will unite over 1,000 schools across the country in reflection about hope and safety in America.
In solidarity with Sandy Hook, students will write "I hope" sentences on hand cutouts, share their work on UClass and become a part of a global collage of hope. We invite your school to join us in opening up this courageous dialogue amongst students and teachers.
Attached is a flyer for you to share with your staff. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to me or consult our lesson tutorial here.
