Judo math creates a culture of motivation, collaboration, and relationship based learning while students achieve mastery in all levels of mathematics following the Common Core curriculum.

Full Session Description (one paragraph minimum):

Judo Math, developed by High Tech Middle teachers, is a way to let your students achieve a high level of mathematics mastery while working at their own pace.  While students work to earn belts and move up in the ranks, they become mentors to help others and build a culture of collaboration.  This systems diminishes the stigma that the teacher is the all knowing body in the room giving the teacher the opportunity to teach in a mini lesson style environment.   Differentiation and motivation drive the students as they work with each other to become a sensei master, a black belt.  Students who naturally excel have the room to move ahead without waiting for the rest of the class while students who naturally have a difficult time in math don’t stress with the speed of a class.  See how relationship based learning can revolutionize your classroom with Judo Math!

    Hi -

We're not a general education conference nor a technology focused conference. We do have a strand for ed tech start ups that requires additional materials from you. However, this technology innovation strand is still focused on global, and I'm not sure how your tool fits in.

    Please revise or advise!
