How has the NSW Department of Education and Communities supported the integration of more than 200,000 1:1 laptops in our middle and senior schools? Join in to see how they have supported the transformation of teaching and learning across their public education system.

Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

The Digital Education Revolution NSW Program has at it's core the focus of 'Transforming teaching and learning in all our schools'. From 2009, when the program was initiated by federal government funding, there has been a strong, deliberate and continual focus on not just the rollout of 1:1 laptops, but on the support that is needed to guide leader and teachers to transform their school and learning spaces. This presentation will walk through resources developed, strategies used and lessons learnt from our program.

The conference seeks to present ideas, examples and initiatives related to connecting educators and classrooms around the world with an emphasis on promoting global awareness and instilling global competency in students. This is not a general education conference nor a technology conference.
