Dear GEC Community Members,
Our call for proposals closes in two weeks on November 10th! If you would like to present at our annual, online conference which provides opportunities that support cultural awareness, recognition of diversity, and educational access for all, please follow the steps as outlined in our call for proposals. Presenting at our conference is an excellent opportunity to share information about your work and to engage with educators and organizations around the world!
At this time, we have 50 amazing accepted proposals, 11 top-notch keynote presentations, and over 900 registrants from 95 different countries. The majority of registrants at this time hail from the United States, India, Australia, Canada, and Romania! We expect all of these numbers to grow significantly during the next three weeks before the conference starts on November 18th.
Here are some quick links that will help you navigate our conference and community:
- Here’s our new guide for attendees: http://bit.ly/GECattendeeguide. It provides step-by-step directions for participating. Pass this along to friends and colleagues!
- We are in need of volunteer moderators for the upcoming conference. Join this group for more information.
- If you are looking for information about global projects, organizations, and other teaching resources, browse our curated collections and conference archives.
We are so thrilled to witness this event coming together online and can’t wait to meet you all during International Education Week. We hope you are excited as well!
Thank you,
