These areas are population (now 7 billion), resource management and climate change, technological innovation and diffusion, the development and dissemination of information and knowledge, economics, the nature and mode of security, and the challenge of governance. This session will discuss the importance of using these resources with high school students and why the 7 revolutions makes sense for educating all students on global knowledge and responsibility.

Please review the proposal again, according to the narrative online here, "The Global Education Conference is a collaborative, world-wide community initiative involving students, educators, and organizations at all levels." (globaleducation mission).
The 7 Revolutions is an initiative to explore and expand learning and knowledge of global issues and work together toward solutions. At the university level, FHSU not only has a leadership program in the 7 Revolutions, but supports learning experiences in other countries (primarily China). This provides not only the understanding of other cultures and the impact that global issues have on all of us, but supports service learning and providing experiences for students in other cultures (either in person or virtually). This promotes cultural awareness and recognition of diversity. The next progression of this is at the secondary level. Educating teachers about the resources available and the initiative will support this. This fits into the mission statement of what was posted on this web page.
