Hello,
My name is Jenni Swanson Voorhees. I am the Academic Technology Coordinator at Sidwell Friends School, which is a PK-12 independent school in Washington, DC. We have initiated several global connections using Perpich software, which employs Elluminate Live! combined with its own secure interface. I have also used Skype for my own interactions, but have yet to use it in class. Our main global connections have been with classes in China where we have an exchange relationship.
I would love to learn what others are doing to connect with schools in other countries using Skype for younger children (3-4 graders).
