Greetings and Salutations! I am thrilled to have found this community, as it is still small enough to engender authentic discussions, yet is widespread enough to offer varied opinions. I'm a technology coordinator at a small-independent school in Olney, MD just outside of Washington DC. Our school is heading more towards a "connectedness" curriculum, instead of the 1-to-1 setup. This is partially because you get a lot more impact for about a quarter of the price, but also because of my personal belief that international connections (and learning how to solve international problems together) are the most important thing going in technology right now.
