Google Earth Teacher Project

Hi Everyone - Happy Saturday! I'm sitting in a workshop given by Will Richardson at the Francis Parker School in Chicago. He pointed out Ning, by the way, in his preso and specifically, Steve Hargadon's Classroom 2.0 ning. I pointed him to our little group here! Anyway, I've been meaning to post a project that I started earlier this year in which teachers either create a Google Earth file (called a .kmz file) containing a brief description of their favorite educational moment or favorite teacher. Individual teachers email me their files (elemenous@gmail.com), and I compile all files and post them to the Google Earth Community web site. For a more detailed description and to view the current file in Google Earth or Google Maps, click here. This project is open-ended, so feel free to jump in any time. It's a good project for teaching yourself Google Earth!
