Here's the transcript and audio recording of last night's chat. I really like the feature on this web that allows you to leave text and video comments. If you haven't explored EdTechTalk yet, check it out as there are 10 other internet radio shows produced weekly and published on this web site. It is a gold mine of information, and I feel a little sheepish that it's taken me so long to really delve into this treasure.
All in all, I was flattered to be invited to WOW 2.0, and at the end, I felt I sounded a little self-absorbed as I did most of the talking. I did get the opportunity to talk about the formation of the GEC, the purpose of this site, and our future plans. I wish I had focused more on specific projects, but perhaps that is another show!
One of the most important things to come out of this conversation is Sharon Peter's impending trip to South Africa and Kenya to work with teachers via the Teachers Without Borders program. I hope Sharon will post details of her trip and her plans here, so that we all can potentially collaborate. I'd also love to know more about Sharon got involved with this program, too! (hint, hint, I hope you're reading this, Sharon!)
