I am writing to see if anyone out there has experience with open educational resources (open source or copyleft licensed content, open source textbooks, etc.)
There seems to be a lot going on in this area in higher ed, but not much in K-12. Some of the more established groups in this area are Wikibooks, Curriki, and OER Commons.
Have you used any of these resources? Have you contributed your own curriculum? What are your thoughts?
I think this movement has tremendous implications, particularly internationally.
