Short Session Description (one line): Fourth graders will facilitate a world-wide dialogue related to ideas for creating a better world.
Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Fourth graders in Ms. Devlin's class will lead a world wide discussion amongst eight to eleven year olds about their ideas for making the world a better place. They will use a brainstorm process that's quick and inclusive. We will encourage children around the world to share their ideas with words, images, song, video and any other venue they would like to share with. This discussion will mainly be a time to share with later opportunities to blog and discuss specific topics. The focus will be to get young children thinking and sharing with their peers from all over the world--an activity to broaden students' and teachers' world view.
