Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Inclusion in the classroom can be beneficial for all stakeholders involved in the teaching and learning process. It requires planning and cooperation of both teachers involved in meeting the educational requirements of the special education student as well as the regular education student. Incorporating a variety of strategies and techniques will offer a different learning experience to accommodate the different ways that students learn. It can enhance the learning atmosphere to help promote and develop life long learners. If we keep the common goal in mind (the student), we can develop and implement a learning experience that will promote higher order thinking as well as meeting the learner's academic requirements. This presentation will focus on ideas, projects, and strategies to assist teachers in developing meaningful and relevant lessons for inclusive learners. Websites / URLs Associated with Your Session:
