Full Session Description (as long as you would like):  Our goal is to make global connections between curriculum and 21st century technology skills such as; Cultural Literacy, Global Awareness, Teaming and Collaboration, Interactive Communication, and Effective Use of Real-World Tools.  We will discuss how to enhance student engagement as you plan collaborative projects and activities with other cultures. Topics discussed will be:  collaborative learning, experiential learning, group activities, as well as short term and long term (on going) activity ideas.  We will also share our experiences as Technology Resource Teachers:  the challenges and successes we’ve had, as well as how our school district supports global connections, curriculum and preparing students to have authentic 21st century technology skills.
