ANNOUNCEMENTS

NOTEWORTHY
- World Savvy is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Check out their program summit taking place in Minneapolis!
- Digital Promise Global is accepting applications for the HP Teaching Fellows program through June 17th. This program is open to educators in the U.S and Canada.
- TakingItGlobal’s Connected North program is a finalist for the Qatar Foundation’s 2022 WISE Awards. The winner will be announced in September.
- AIFS and CIEE have created a $100K Fund for the professional development of international educators. This will allow higher education administrators and faculty to attend annual conferences led by NAFSA: Association for International Educators, Forum on Education Abroad, and Diversity Abroad.
- GENE has created an excellent list of educational resources that might be useful for educators regarding what is happening in Europe and Ukraine.
- iEARN-USA is hosting an online summer institute. This professional development experience will take place July 18-21 and the theme is "How to Become a Global Educator".

On June 24th, we will welcome Heather Singmaster as our featured guest. Heather Singmaster is Director for CTE and GCEN, Center for Global Education at the Asia Society where her work focuses on international best practices and integrating global competence into Career Technical Education (CTE) programs as well as state and national policy. Heather leads the Global Cities Education Network (GCEN), a network of international cities focused on best practice sharing in education.
