The Actionable Innovations Global Community
Actionable Innovations is a collaborative, dynamic, worldwide professional community of educators who believe that learning at all levels should embody action and innovation.
Learning embodies action by engaging teachers and learners in meaningful applications of knowledge and abilities: experiential learning, hands-on and maker learning, challenge- and project-based learning, place-based learning, social-emotional learning, universal design for learning and accessibility, the development of global competence and civics, and learning that pursues the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Learning embodies innovation by embracing emerging technologies and tools, incorporating new research and discoveries in neuroscience and developmental psychology, and practicing creative teaching and learning strategies being developed around the world.
We welcome teachers, learners, school leaders, educational technologists, and others interested in making teaching and learning more diverse, connected, sustainable, creative, and significant for everyone involved.
