  • Did you miss our Actionable Innovations Conversation with Leigh Cassell?

Make sure to review the recording and stop by the Digital Human Library, Canada’s premier digital experiential learning library. Many thanks to Leigh for joining us last week!

  • We have a new mission!

Recently, AI Global co-founder don buckley led our leadership team through terrific design thinking activities to help us clarify our brand. Then, co-founder William Rankin applied his wordsmithing skills and blended this language with the previous GlobalEdCon mission. In the coming weeks, look for information about our upcoming professional learning events tied to this!

The Actionable Innovations Global Community

Actionable Innovations is a collaborative, dynamic, worldwide professional community of educators who believe that learning at all levels should embody action and innovation.

Learning embodies action by engaging teachers and learners in meaningful applications of knowledge and abilities: experiential learning, hands-on and maker learning, challenge- and project-based learning, place-based learning, social-emotional learning, universal design for learning and accessibility, the development of global competence and civics, and learning that pursues the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Learning embodies innovation by embracing emerging technologies and tools, incorporating new research and discoveries in neuroscience and developmental psychology, and practicing creative teaching and learning strategies being developed around the world.

We welcome teachers, learners, school leaders, educational technologists, and others interested in making teaching and learning more diverse, connected, sustainable, creative, and significant for everyone involved.
