During this academic year, the ANSER Charter School Junior High students are exploring Africa as their learning expedition.  Small groups of students will complete in-depth studies of individual countries - from past to present - and post their learning (via videos, links, art projects, online quizzes) on the Africa Expedition PBWorks http://africaexpedition.pbworks.com/FrontPage.   The students will then come together to have a summit as "representatives" from their respective countries to discuss solutions to the challenges (possibly AIDS) facing Africa.

We are looking for classes to join in the research and study of the individual countries . . . and then for a virtual summit in the spring as representatives of their "countries".  I can be contacted at Jgerstein@ansercharterschool.org Our students would love some partners in this project!
