Around the World in a Minute: Let's Create Something Similar !

Take a look at the videos here: http://www.neatorama.com/2011/08/04/around-the-world-in-a-minute/. I'd love to do a project like this with schools. Any interest out there? We could focus on various themes with schools contributing short video clips. I could then stitch them together to make one video.

The movies are fantastic and simple. I'd like to join with my students. How about Jump? I'm trying to think of ways to include many students.

I would love to do this with my students. What themes are you thinking of? Maybe something like Collaboration or Creation.

  Sometimes I see that primary schools are neglected in these global projects. I think it would be fascinating to splice together different classrooms from around the words (primary) . To young students, they don't even realize their world is different yet. What a great way to show that. Add in a writing prompt, postcards(video) from a student at some of the schools about a day in the life...

I really like the idea. If I could not get some of my teachers to participate I would without a doubt. It would be pre-service students from Kansas working with me in contributing to this project.
