Full Session Description (as long as you would like): When Cheryl Morris and Andrew Thomasson attended a conference virtually on Twitter, they had no idea that a tweet would lead to a cross-country collaboration and a relationship that completely changed their classrooms and their lives. Despite living on opposite coasts, they have spent the last year and a half co-planning a total of 14 courses for a combined 600+ students at three schools. In this session they will explain how they began their collaboration, but they will focus on the ways in which every teacher can improve their classroom through collaboration. Technology tools and tricks will be shared, along with examples of the innovative flipped project-based-learning approach they have developed together.
