I'd like to create a project in which students learn to recognize bias and stereotypes. The collaborative element would be a wiki where people contribute personal experiences and examples of bias and stereotyping in their local media. We also have the possibility of creating a mini-documentary using pictures and videos from all participants.
My students will be in 7th grade (ages 11-12), but we'd enjoy working with anyone in the 10-14 year age range.
