How is our world changing? How has that change affected our schools and classrooms? What skills do our students need to know in order to be successful in school and beyond? This session will explore how our world is becoming increasingly interconnected and its effects on our classrooms. In addition to exploring the skills that students need to be successful in school, work, life, and play, this session will focus on how you can transform your classroom into a learning environment that promotes communication, collaboration, empathy and problem-solving. The emphasis will be on empowering your students to define problems they see in their schools, communities, regions, and the world at large and collaboratively coming up with solutions for these problems.
