I'd like to invite you all into a dialog here that discusses education's place in a larger system of world design.
- First, have we defined an agreed upon description of what 'collaboration' and what 'education' is?
- How does education and learning influence the areas of support necessary to design, build, and sustain a world of diverse yet connected communities?
- What will our new communities look like and have we really considered both what and how we teach and learn?
- Wbat assumptions do we hold about 'learning' and how is it different from 'educating'?
- How does technology affect our learning process?
- How do we create an 'ecology of design' that generates a world that satisfies BOTH individual purpose and social agendas?
TRIGGER ANY THOUGHTS?? :)
For those of you really feeling connected to these kinds of questions ... I invite you into a unique experiment at http://ChangingNormal.com Join one or more of its community domains. I'd love to see some of you there.
