Short Session Description (one line):  Participants will be introduced to CK-12 Foundation and its vision to ensure students all over the world have access to free educational materials.

Full Session Description (one paragraph minimum): CK-12 Foundation is a non-profit on a mission to ensure educational equity for students all over the world by offering free educational materials.  CK-12 provides both a free web-based platform for creating customizable standards-aligned digital textbooks and also a wide range of stimulating, multi-modal content that ensures students are able to learn the material in a way that suites them best.  Through the FlexBook Platform and CK-12's other offerings, educators around the world can localize content to improve the relevancy of content for their own student populations as well as collaborate and share to increase the amount of resources available for enhancing learning globally.  Customization on the FlexBook Platform will be demonstrated with an emphasis on how the power to personalize the content can greatly improve the learning experience for students and how educators working together can rapidly enhance resources available.  CK-12 aims to transform the classroom into an interactive and engaging learning environment by empowering all teachers and students.
