Connecting classrooms

Hello, My name is Kader Adjout. I am the Head of the History Department at Beaver Country Daay School in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, United States. Next year, we are planning on connecting our classrooms with other classrooms from all over the world to work on different projects. Our school year starts in September. We are interested in connecting classrooms from grades 7 to 12. Let me know if you are interested and we could set something up. Thank you. Kader Adjout

    • Hello,

I could get the 7th and 8th graders at my school to connect with your school.
What subjects would it be for?
I am the head of the history department, so it would certainly be for this subject.
      Here is my email address:

I look forward to hearing from you.
      Sincerely,

      Kader Adjout
      • That would be great. I also teach history. We cover US history in 7th & 8th grade. My school e-mail is eguarnieri@mariareginaschool.org.

        • Hello,

          I wanted to thank you.
I already received 2 emails from people in Palestine and Bangladesh.
          This is just great.
Let me know if I can help too about connections.
          Thank you.

          • Hi Kader,
I'm really glad they responded, but please keep in mind that you may have to take the lead on creating the project. They have little experience with this kind of thing. Both programs have Ning sites so please feel free to join and have students join if you think they'll be able to log on without any problems. As this is the end of the year, there are no real projects, just open discussions. The projects will have to come from you... I hope that's okay. I am ready to help at any time. Here are the two sites:

            Bangladesh: http://gcepbd.ning.com/

            West Bank: http://connect-middleeast.ning.com/

            Thanks very much,
            Anna
