Short Session Description (one line):

How can we create authentic connections between children that live worlds apart?

Full Session Description (one paragraph minimum):

In this session, the presenter and attendees will share experiences of making global connections with strong curricular goals. How can we get past Skyping hello or sharing a read aloud to create meaningful projects? What are the resources that can help facilitate these connections? What are projects that have worked before? Why were they successful? How can you create time and space in your curriculum to make these connections? I am hoping that this conversation will spark new ideas and introduce interested teachers to others that are looking for people to collaborate with.
