Short Session Description (one line):Reaching out to Teachers to Create Global Education Projects through Student Organizations
Full Session Description (as long as you would like):
Teachers who embrace global education need to listen and to respond to students' feedback and ideas necessary to improve communication and the global educational curriculum. The diverse population teachers work with every single day leads the way educators approach students and teaching. Global student organizations and clubs could help in bridging the gap, to help teachers better understand the needs of students as global citizens. The school environment is rich in offering opportunities for teachers to connect with students coming from all over the world, from different backgrounds, from different areas. Models of global education student organizations projects will be presented as examples of ways teachers and students could work together on building a school environment that embraces global education.
