We all know that creativity in K12 education is important, but what does
it look like in our current age of technology and globalization?
As an Education Advocate for Adobe, Laura Feeney travels widely looking
for the best examples of creativity in schools. In this session, she will describe
why creativity in education is essential in our increasingly globalized
world.
Matthijs Clasener, an educator at Grafisch Lyceum in Rotterdam, will share
an overview about the Global Video Battle. The Global Video Battle is a powerful experience for teachers and students all over the world. This battle is a friendly competition in which student teams work together to make the best short fiction movie possible. They present online in front of the webcam and discuss their process with their peers in other countries. Matthijs will discuss the process of this battle and hopes you will join as well.
