Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Designing and running a global project has its challenges but anyone can do it! All it takes ONE good idea based on best learning practices, a FEW educators willing to take risks, SEVERAL committed schools from around the world ready to jump on board and MANY hours to develop your project site and communicate with participants. During this session the i-Spy Community Project which focuses on the study of community in K-3 classrooms will be presented. The project took place during the month of October and was a great success. With the experience of this project behind us, we're ready to take on a new challenge. Our grade 3 team is designing an immigration project which will involve grade 3-5 classrooms around the world. The project, called Sem Fronteiras (Without Borders), is being led by our Portuguese teachers. Find out more about how you can join this project.
