Developing a 200 Nation's International Education/Advocate Blog Network
Full Session Description (as long as you would like):
This session is designed to provide insightful discussion about the challenges nation’s face in improving their educational systems that serve their children, and how they can provide solutions to address these problems. Specific emphasis will be placed on (1) how information is gathered and used to identify students needs; (2) recognizing community’s school developmental process; (3) understanding strategies for where, and how to intervene; and (4) understanding service gaps and liabilities.
The session will conclude with a Call for Action to develop an international education and advocate blog network to work with schools to; (1) help formulate international educational policies and programs that promote basic human rights for children; (2) improved working and enhanced employment opportunities for local teachers; and (3) develop working relationships with Non-Governmental Organizations that work with local groups to build partnerships with countries, to help support schools and communities to put these policies into practice in an effective manner.
