I am writing as board member of the Institute for Humane Education (http://www.humaneeducation.org/) to announce the first annual humane education conference to be held on September 21st in New York City. This unique conference is presented by Humane Education Advocates Reaching Teachers (HEART), the Institute for Humane Education (IHE), and the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI).
Keynote speakers include Dr. Jane Goodall, Arun Gandhi, and Zoe Weil. Hands-on humane education workshops and a UN International Day of Peace parade are part of this special day’s events.
