Only Education moulds human mind which responds towards either evolution or dissolution of human civilization. Worldwise today, it appears that we are in the path of dissolution.
It is said that Science education plays a critical role in transformation human minds.But unfortunately, global trends suggest more scientific fraud with more science.Scientific misconduct constitutes not only violation of standard code of scholarly conduct but also ethical behavior in scientific research by various acts of commission and omission on the parts of actors in scientific enterprise. Such approach to Science education creates aberration as a result more and more destructive ideas and products are marketed in the name of education.Education has become a business and an instrument of earning money fraudulently.
Science devoid of Spirit condemn and accuse ourselves when we are not able to live upto our full potential. We choose to make our lives a penthouse preoccupied with acquisitions to the exclusion of all else.The attitude is one of self-aggrandisement, and achievements counted in terms of material possessions. Such education spread knowledge and information overloaded with virtuality creating confusion than clarity.Besides,the environment of schools and colleges is increasingly becoming places of violence and unhealthy competition. School shoot out are very common now a days.There is complete self-absorption that shuts us off from the rest. Matter alone becomes the focus of life spearheading trouble for human civilization.Morality and humanitarian culture is gradually vanishing from education.Education instead of promoting civility is revolving around money,fame and property(although necessary to an extent) when allow them to dominate our lives would be tantamount to breeding discontent and violence.
2011 Global Education conference should make an attempt to check this "creatively destructive" process of education to bring realization that our future is no longer limited to the materials and accordingly reform the global education system for a meaningful conscious living for organic evolution of human civilization.
