Short Session Description (one line): Evidence-Based Strategies for Opening Minds & Improving Analytical Thinking
Full Session Description (as long as you would like):
Differentiation is an approach to the classroom that addresses and honors the many learning styles of students. By presenting many different strategies, teachers will be able to plan future lessons that will touch on many different modes of learning. Learn to identify the multiple intelligence types and create instructional strategies to accommodate the full range of ability and intelligence in your classroom.
We are all drawn to good stories and story tellers. Stories are the evidence you need to make an idea or a concept real for you. Hearing from friends or associates about what they have experienced makes an idea real. The better the story, the more real it becomes and that allows us to see and eventually believe what the storyteller is trying to convey. This session will describe how incorporating the story can be used as the evidence needed to open minds and improve thinking. Learn how to tell a story using visual, audio, kinesthetic and emotional anchors, which will engage your students to the fullest.
