Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Interactive Videoconferences [IVCs] provide a deeper connection to pressing global issues through virtual, intercultural student exchanges called “Exchange 2.0.” GNG's programs break down virtual barriers among teenagers towards a more peaceful tomorrow. Students learn to think on their feet, become more confident public speakers, and come to see themselves as global citizens. Conference participants will learn how to effectively integrate IVC technology into existing curricula; view videoconferences that highlight student interaction and intercultural collaboration; and learn about GNG, a global education, non-profit organization that has worked in over 45 countries and connected over 2,000 classrooms since 1998.
