Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

Fountain Valley School’s (FVS) partnership with Colorado Springs Food Rescue (CSFR) sprouted from a post-program project through the Experiment in International Living Leadership Institute (https://www.experiment.org/), where Izzy Nunez ‘17 studied public health in northern India. Nunez chose to reach out to CSFR because she had begun to see food rescue’s unique potential to reduce waste, help disadvantaged people, connect all types of organizations, and provide a local, relevant outlet for youth in a school setting. Juliet Chi '19 now runs the program with the help of Dr. Amber Gar, Director of Sustainability and Toni Olivieri-Barton.
