Short Session Description (one line): Languages are best learned when they are put into practice. In this session, we will be talking about how language exchange can not only improve our language abilities but also foster international cooperation and collaboration, and how to incorporate this into the classroom.

Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Language exchange is an effective tool to bridge not only linguistic and cultural gaps between groups of people from different backgrounds but also to foster international collaboration through partnerships with overseas educational institutions. Through technology, this process can be made more accessible and convenient. People can now exchange languages and cultures through different forms of media including text, audio and video - all without the costs of having to travel to another country. In this session we will introduce platforms for language exchange and how to incorporate language exchange in the classroom.
