I'm hosting a FREE, online global ed book club event on November 10th at 3 pm EST. The first book will be Carrie Wagner's "Village Wisdom" which chronicles her 3 years in Uganda serving with Habitat for Humanity Int'l. Carrie returned to Uganda appx 15 years later with her husband and 2 young sons - and this is also documented. Carrie's book includes journal entries and letters that she wrote during her time abroad as well as her reflections on the experience. She will be LIVE with me on Nov 10th (via livestream) to answer questions and to talk about global citizenship. Please join us if you can! The book is appropriate for mature junior high school and high school students also - but it is a great professional development opportunity too.
