Educators are constantly looking for ways to make their content relevant to their student's lives. With the advent of the cloud, sharing video online has grown exponentially and many of the students that sit in our classrooms are already directors, actors and authors. This session will address the value in using student-made digital video projects and describe how to developed a program to bring digital video into the classroom. Through the creation of film festivals spanning grades k-12, 21st century students have the opportunity to enhance their skills, build relationships and collaborate for authentic audiences around the world.
