Short Session Description (one line): Global Leadership Skills For the Children of Our Future

Full Session Description (one paragraph minimum):

Every child has the capacity to become a leader, whether in a formal role or in the way the chose the lead their lives. In order for children to move into this place of power and responsibility, however, they need to be taught skills that prepare them to believe in themselves, act from a place of confidence, and interact well with others. The first step in developing a these skills requires them to cultivate a deep awareness of themselves, including an understanding of their physical, emotional, and mental states and the perspectives, values, and beliefs that shape their perception of the world. As children develop a deep awareness of themselves, they are they able to interact with others in a healthy way.  Formal leadership follows naturally as they learn more advanced relational skills and move into a place of interdependence. Becoming attuned to the needs and states of others allows for interpersonal interactions that are conscious, productive, and meaningful. The development of these foundational skills lays the groundwork for honing the necessary self-efficacy skills and qualities advantageous to becoming a successful leader.

The skills in this program encourage children to develop their natural leadership abilities and prepare themselves for life of higher education, career excellence, and global understanding.
