Using principles of design thinking education and technology tools like Skype, we will give examples of how our global history curriculum enables students to be in charge of their own learning, by working on issues of their interests, sharing ideas with students and organizations across the world, and coming up with solutions to world issues.

    Thanks for your submission to present at the 2011 Global Education Conference. In order for your proposal to appear in the correct strand, you must tag it with anyone of these labels to reflect the Teacher, Student, Curricular or Policy strands: 2011Teacher, 2011Student, 2011Curricular, 2011Policy. It is fine to use multiple tags if you’d like, but you must select at least one. To edit your proposal, go to your proposal page and click on the Options button. Select Edit Discussion, and add your tags in the tag field below the body of your message. Make sure to click on Save when you are finished editing.
