• GEC members who are in the New York City area encouraged to attend a global education event sponsored by UClass and the Asia Society TOMORROW night at Avenues, the World School. Last minute tickets are available here: http://t.co/aJmnxrlIHG. GEC Co-Chair Lucy Gray will be there; make sure to say hello if you are attending as well. 
• If you are unable to attend the NYC Global Education Forum, you can follow the Twitter action by searching Twitter for the #nycglobaled hashtag or by viewing UClass's front page at http://uclass.org/. Those who tweet about why global education is essential for K12 schools will be eligible to win an Amazon gift, courtesy of UClass. 
• Speaking of Avenues, the World School, tech integrator Meg Wilson from the aforementioned institution is looking for educators interested in collaborating on an iBook. Details are available here: http://www.globaleducationconference.com/forum/topics/help-iauthor-a-global-ibook-using-ipads

• If you will be attending the International Society for Technology in Education Conference (ISTE) in June, we will be hosting a get together for educators interested global collaboration. We would like attendees, including representatives of companies and non-profits, to facilitate table discussions during this event.
