Dear Global Educators,
I hope you are all managing as best as you can through this difficult time. I wanted to share information with you about a free resource for educators and students that will support remote learning. It is a great tool for connecting students meaningfully in writing and peer reviewing and empowers you to create a classroom community and space to support continued learning for your students. You can also connect your classroom to another classroom around the world.
About Write the World
Write the World is a global online community of young writers that invites students ages 13-18 years old from around the world to write, share and publish their work in a creative, thoughtful community. Designed by educators at Harvard University to improve student writing and build communication and critical thinking skills, Write the World has become a means for fostering global citizenship and engagement. Educators can create an online private classroom writing space with prompts, assignments, and guided peer review tools. They can also start an online writing club utilizing our platform and free resources. Finally, students can join global writing groups and enter our free monthly writing competitions with cash prizes and expert author reviews.
