Dear Actionable Innovations Global Community Members,
The Global Learning for an Open World Conference starts in just TWO WEEKS!
Here are our current stats. We have 800 registrants from about 75 countries, including Albania, Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Azerbaijan, the Bahamas, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Chile, China, Columbia, Denmark, Egypt, El Salvador, Ethiopia, France, Gambia, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua. Nigeria, North Macedonia, Pakistan, Palestine, the Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Rwanda, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay, Vietnam, and Zambia. We have 104 sessions scheduled, and at least 20 of these sessions featured Spanish speakers and were organized by advisory board member Cristina Veláquez. We have a few more sessions to be scheduled, and our schedule should be set by the end of this weekend. There are sessions scheduled every single hour of the conference, by the way!
Here's how you can support this incredible community of global educators and organizations!
- Please register and try to attend live sessions in your time zone (all sessions will be recorded, and you will have access to these through January if you register).
- VOLUNTEER to moderate sessions! We need volunteers desperately to attend sessions and be available to help presenters if needed. It is not difficult to use our new platform, Hopin. Join our volunteer group, sign up for time slots, and await further directions.
- Encourage your students (any person ages 11-30) to participate in TakingITGlobal's student art contest, Dare to Reshape Our World. Entries are due November 16th, and the winners (who get prizes) will be announced at the conference.
- Share information about this free virtual event with friends and colleagues.
Thank you so much, and we'll see you online in a few weeks,
GLOW Conference Co-Chair
