Hi Kathy,
I presented this Nov. at the conference. My subject was Shift the Thinking of Middle School Students Who Come to School With Low Expectation About Their Ability to Learn.
Basically my interest is to bring an awareness to young students about the problems their counterparts in developing countries face. A program has been developed to accompany a book I authored, The Kid Who Beat Wall Street and Saved Africa which does just that- create awareness and hopefully a desire to help change things. I'm having some wonderful success as schools reading my book, are anxious to connect with student other students to discuss some of the big issues raised. Do you have any suggestions as any middle schools that would have an interest?
Thanks,
Ginger Heller
