The question I am asked most often, when I talk about globalizing my classroom is, "How do you cover your curriculum?"  This question is an important one to answer.  

In this session, I will show how I cover my curriculum of ELA, math, science, social studies, and health, while taking my students through a year of global learning.  I will discuss test preparation, common core standards, and the curriculum in my high stakes district.  

I have been a classroom teacher for 30 years.  My students learn the curriculum, do well on the tests, and learn more about other cultures and the world than ever before.  Come join me to find out how.
