Hi,
I am writing to invite your Grade 5, 6 or year 7 students to an online discussion of an issue covered recently in Behind the News. The discussion will be around the question “Should people be banned from keeping dangerous dogs?”. The story on Behind the News, as well as videos and guides for interschool discussions, can be found here.http://thenorthschool.com/discussion . Students research the topic before participating in the discussion.
The online discussion would be held between 11.30am and 12.30pm AEST on Monday, November 7th. All you need is one Skype account for you or your school, connection to the internet, and a computer for each of the students whom you would like to participate.
If you are interested in participating, send me the names of the students who will be a part of the discussion and I will set up the links you require to participate.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask.
We look forward to seeing you online!
Many thanks,
Dr Robert Sbaglia

Un tema muy interesante. Pero soy del pensar que no hay perros peligrosos, sino dueños que no saben darles educación y cariño y que les enseñan a ser malos.

How did it go? I am two days late and looking forward into the next forum.

Hi Andrea,
We're looking to focus our efforts on the Writers Club as a way to encourage collaboration between schools - you can read more here : http://sbaglia.com/?p=484 Let me know if you're interested in this, as it doesn't require time zones to align.
Rob -
I'm changing the category of this as I think you did not intend to put this under the 2011 Global Education Conference category.
