Abstract:
On April 15, 2011, Bob Barboza presented his Kids Talk Radio Science plan at the Fifth International Congresso of the Portuguese speaking countries, Mexico and Cape Verde. He met with the president of Cape Verde and got permission to move forward with his international STEM project for Cape Verde. New websites, eBooks and custom foreign language software was designed to make it possible for students and teachers to share information and to conduct science experiments with American classrooms.
Bob Barboza is training student science backpack journalists to report enhanced STEM news in the areas of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, the arts, and foreign languages. He is working with the USA and 34 foreign countries on the “Cabo Verde Tenth Island Project.” His team of teachers and science students are using the uninhabited island of Santa Luzia, Cape Verde as their STEM virtual laboratory. As a team, we are working together to create the world’s most perfect island.
Super School Virtual University was formed to make it possible for teachers to share ePortfolios, e-Lesson Plans and e-Science Lab notes, civil engineering notes, and architectural designs. Students will share data obtained by using iPads and special environmental science hardware.
In this session, we will demonstrate how our students can share mathcasts, science lab experiments and science reports, design concepts, international science news, iPad and STEM eBooks. Your students will be invited to join our students online while we are working on the Cabo Verde Tenth Island Project.
Additional Creative Podcasting:
Kids Talk Radio Antarctica and North Polar Projects:
On April 15, 2012, one of our seventeen-year old Kids Talk Radio science backpack journalists will travel to the North Pole. This will be his second trip. He is the youngest person in the history of the world to ever accomplish this task. Kids Talk Radio, Super School Teen TV, Super School Press, and Youth World News will create audio and video podcasts of this event and share them with students and teachers.
Teachers will have an opportunity to download free materials; presentations notes and visit four different websites that contain useful information that can be shared with students and other teachers and support staff at your schools.
We are looking for teacher and student participation in our International Cabo Verde Tenth Island Project and our Antarctica and North Pole Science Projects. We are happy to provide you with the necessary information that you need to participate in these international projects.

Bob, where are we with this proposal? It's still not quite in the proper format; we provided a template in the Call for Proposals. Please let me know ASAP.

Could you check to see if I am in the teacher strand? I found my session in your system. I am just not sure if the fix that I made worked.
