Short Session Description (one line): Usage of Khan Academy to level your students
Full Session Description (as long as you would like): I intend to share the experience I had this semester with 12th grade students in which I initially had a lot of problems because they could differentiate but they couldn't simplify. As I didn't have the time to teach them how to and they already had that class previously, I enrolled them into a Khan Academy and left missions weekly since arithmetic to pre-calculus. As this was extra, I motivated them by the top 5 of the class a homework exemption and the bottom 5 with an extra homework regarding the topics of the mission.
The result was that besides being more motivated, their algebraic abilities improved notoriously. This is a practice I highly recommend and I intend to repeat next semester.
