An outcome of this presentation will be an online platform for conference participants to contribute, communicate and collaborate on this topic. The presentation slides and the online course outline will be posted on our page. In conclusion, we explore how the use of new social networking software and hand held devices in global education combines knowledge, reflection, and action; promotes global literacies; and prepares new generation to be responsible members of a multicultural, global society.
