MAKERS storytelling app will enable you and your classroom to document those in your community who are making a difference in your communities and the world. Based on the PBS documentary, MAKERS: Women Making America, and the online platform, makers.com, the video stories captured on MAKERS is ideal for showcasing contemporary history. A curriculum developed around the MAKERS app is a great exercise  in leadership development, in community engagement and in history making. Ideal for grades 7 through 10.

    Hi Amy -

    I've had a chance to review your proposal that somehow got stuck in a spam folder.... my apologies for that. We need your proposal to tie to the mission of our conference. Can you please take a look at our mission and see if you can add language to your proposal that aligns with our goals? To edit your proposal, use the OPTIONS button in the upper right hand corner. Let me know when you've had a chance to do this, and I'll review the proposal again.


    FYI, we are going to be holding a similar conference on Maker culture next spring.... you might want to hold out for that.
