I am seeking ideas on how to become more involved in Global Education. I am currently a technology instructional facilitator, which means I work directly with teachers, teaching them how to incorporate technology into their curriculum. Our district is a 1:1 laptop district (every student has a laptop 6-12 grade). I do not have the opportunity to create collaborative projects in my current position. When I was a elementary librarian, I created wonderful opportunities for my students, which they still talk about today.
I want to become more involved in Global Collaboration/Education as it is my passion. Does anyone have any ideas on organizations, volunteering, etc. I would really love to put my tech skills to use, as they are extensive and give back, help, assist...whatever I can do to be involved.
